This kit has everything you need to create a unique piece of Pennsylvania Dutch inspired folk art with your Oxford Punch Needle. The twelve pointed rosette is often found on Pennsylvania Dutch hex signs (barn signs). It symbolizes a year of good luck and good health and makes a lovely handcrafted gift.
This project is appropraite for beginners and seasoned punchers. You may add on a regular #10 Oxford Punch Needle at purchase under Options.
This project features "reverse punching," where the back, flat stitches, are showcased rather than the front/rug loops.
Primitive linen is pre-stretched on a 9" hoop with the rosette pattern pre-drawn on the front. There two pretty, super soft, super bulky variegated yarn combinations to choose from.
This rosette project will work well with your Oxford #10 regular punch needle or any punch needle that handles a super-bulky yarn and makes approximately 1/4 inch loops.
Two colours of variegated super-bulky wool (50 grams total)
Hoop: 9" hoop, pre-stretched with linen rug foundation fabric.
Pattern is traced on the front and ready for you to punch.
